SoundAffects

SoundAffects uses audio recordings to connect children in classrooms world-wide, to enhance their understanding of the diversity of today’s world, and to equip them to be better citizens of tomorrow’s global community.

Projects — Ghana

In 2008 SoundAffects began working with sixteen linked schools in Ghana and the UK.

In this first phase, project leaders worked directly with children in schools in the UK and in Ghana.

In the second phase of the project, which is scheduled for early 2010, SoundAffects will hand over the recording operation in country to Ghanaian radio journalists, thereby ensuring the sustainability of the project and allowing for the introduction of more audio links.
